Hi!

My name is Alexandra Grossman, but you can call me Alex.
About
My passion for media and language began in middle school when I competed in the annual Great Computer Challenge hosted by Old Dominion University and WHRO. I excelled in Desktop Publishing and became deeply familiar with Microsoft and Adobe software, placing first in 2017, 2018, and 2019, second in 2016, and third in 2020.

In high school I further developed my interests professionally as a junior author for the Smithfield Times Newspaper (2020), leading the yearbook staff as Smithfield High School's Yearbook Editor-in-Chief (2021), working as the Isle of Wight Marketing Intern (2021), and continuing to compete in media competitions, placing second for the Virginia School Boards Association's student video contest (2020), and first in the Scrapbook category of the Virginia BETA Convention with a virtual collage (2021).
Today, I am a proud student of Old Dominion University pursuing a double major in English and Spanish with a concentration in technical writing. I have completed two internships during the course of my education; Technical Writing at Liebherr Mining Equipment, and Marketing & Communications at ODU'S Office of Counseling Services. My next academic endeavor will be studying Spanish in Cusco, Peru, for the Fall 2025 semester.
